Jackson State basketball coach Mo Williams turned more than a few heads during when he traded the traditional blazer-and-slacks look for a denim jacket and sweatpants.
The unexpected outfit choice came as the Tigers faced off against No. 17 Illinois on Monday, and cameras immediately focused on Williams as he strolled the sideline in his relaxed attire.
Social media buzzed, with some praising the former NBA guard’s confidence while others questioned it.

While his fashion may have drawn attention, Williams’ focus remained squarely on basketball. Jackson State was blown out by the Big Ten school 113-55.
Whether the denim-and-sweats combo becomes a recurring look remains to be seen, but one thing was clear Monday night — Williams’ sideline swagger is as strong as ever.
