Florida A&M has landed one of Division II’s most electrifying quarterbacks.
Former Albany State signal-caller and reigning SIAC Offensive Player of the Year Isaiah Knowles announced his commitment to the Rattlers, adding another dangerous weapon to FAMU’s championship-caliber offense.
Knowles lit up defenses during his career with the Golden Rams, throwing for 4,726 yards and 61 touchdowns. His poise, accuracy, and leadership helped propel Albany State into SIAC contention and earned him the conference’s top offensive honor in 2025.

The move to Florida A&M gives Knowles a new platform on the FCS stage as the Rattlers look to build on their success in the SWAC. Under new head coach Quinn Gray FAMU is expected to feature a deep quarterback room, and Knowles’ arrival immediately heightens competition heading into spring camp.
Knowles marks the latest high-impact transfer to join the Rattlers program — a sign that FAMU’s championship ambitions remain as strong as ever.
