Oak Grove High School senior Ben Boulware, a standout defensive lineman known for his power and consistency in the trenches, has announced his commitment to play college football at North Carolina A&T.
Boulware made his commitment public on Wednesday, choosing the Aggies over offers from several Power Four programs like Michigan and Georgia. He also received offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, South Carolina during the recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound lineman anchored Oak Grove’s defensive front this fall, earning All-Area and All-Conference honors after recording 62 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and seven sacks.
A&T head coach Shawn Gibbs and his staff have targeted defensive versatility as a key to rebuilding depth across the line, and Boulware’s blend of size and first-step quickness fits that vision.
Boulware’s commitment marks another in-state recruiting win for North Carolina A&T, continuing the Aggies’ recent focus on adding homegrown talent from top high school programs across the state.
