A woman claiming to be a co-founder and former VP of Death Row Records is suing Snoop Dogg and Marion “Suge” Knight for a whopping $107 million.

As reported by VIBE, Lydia Harris filed suit on Tuesday, March 18 in Texas. Harris, the wife of former drug kingpin and Death Row Records financier Michael “Harry-O” Harris, also named Interscope Records and music exec Jimmy Iovine in the suit.

She claims that the group used underhanded tactics to not pay the nine-figure judgment she and her husband won in a 2005 civil suit in establishing their role in founding Death Row. Lydia says Knight and others hid financial records, filed fraudulent motions, and abused bankruptcy to avoid the judgment.

Snoop Dogg is named in the lawsuit because he is the current owner of Death Row Records. The rap icon acquired the label in 2022 through a deal with MNRK Music Group.

Death Row Records Co-Founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris Speaks On Trump Pardon

Harry-O and Lydia Harris’ involvement with Death Row dates back to the late 1980s when Harry-O invested $1.5 million in the label’s launch. It was intended for Lydia to receive a 50% profit share as a result.

However, Knight and his then-attorney, David Kenner, distanced themselves from Harry-O, who was imprisoned at the time. Eventually, Lydia Harris was forced to sue in 2005 to establish the couple as co-founders of the legendary label.

Harry-O served a 28-year prison sentence for cocaine trafficking, kidnapping, and attempted murder before he was pardoned by President Donald Trump in 2021.
