The CIAA dominates this week’s edition of HBCU Sports’ Division II football poll after improving to 5-0 this season against the SIAC following two head-to-head meetings this past weekend.
Chief among them is Shaw, who overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the reigning SIAC championship runner-up Albany State.
Meanwhile, West Virginia State finds its way on the list after coming away with a win in its season debut, battling back from a fourth-quarter deficit of its own.
